Short Summary: The Caesars Cup was the poker match that set "the Americans" vs. "the Europeans" in several(5 to be exact) heads up and partner formatted sessions. It was generally the thought at the time that the Americans would easily win and basically dominate the matches due to their combination of braclets, wins in tournaments at every level, lifetime winnings of millions and millions and live experience sitting at the felt of thousands of hours coupled with their name recognition within not only the poker community but their developing status growing throughout mainstream media. The match was in 2009 and the Europeans didn't have the same name recognition at the time outside of the world where they prospered, online. Surprising everyone but themselves the European group of 5 dominated from the start and won convincingly 4-1. This time ESPN will be capturing the rematch at the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe in October

Just want to point out if the poker players and poker fans out there don't know. Elky is one of the nicest professional players around and he makes himself accessible which is really cool. Between, twitter, online and at the tables he manages to consistently win while still keeping a happy disposition which is really nice to see compared to ppl like Phil Helmuth ect ect.
